What breaks us remakes us
Kintsugi is a Japanese art form that celebrates resilience and survival, repairing shattered pottery with gold. But instead of disguising the break points, they’re illuminated, rebirthing a vessel more brilliant than the original. In the same way, my stories magnify the beauty in brokenness, following flawed characters on journeys that break them, then remake them. Because light can only shine through the broken places.
